I also want to urge people to reblog this and not support its-that-witch-again’s “witches for sudan”. Its-that-witch-again is still antiblack, and not only is she antiblack for what she did to me but even for her recent response on her blog. She is quite literally, using the suffering of black women to make herself look better. Instead of listening to actual black women who called her out, she is painting us as aggressors and acting as if black women are taking away from what is happening in Sudan. (that’s the link to the post)
Here are just a few of her responses
“ but what Id hate more than a bad reputation off of one comment made in poor taste towards an individual is to think others would really forsake black lives in need actively because of this rumor.”
“It feels so counter productive y'know? Like is your spite for me really so much stronger than your empathy for people suffering?”
And
“If you feel so inclined please help make clear that THIS is where the focus should be. Block me, “cancel me”, thats cool. Im fine. Im at work. Safe and fed. But they, the people of Sudan, arent.”
These responses are rooted in anti-blackness. The first comment, acting as if us calling her out on her antiblackness is not forsaking black lives. Especially when those calling her out ARE black women. How racist and ignorant do you have to be, to act like black women calling out your antiblackness is us taking away from our black sisters. How rude. How rude of her to use black lives, the horrors of other black women to silence and shame black women who call you out on your racism?
The second response is also messed
up. It is not counter productive for us to call out its-that-witch-again’s
antiblackness and want her to be held accountable.
Lastly, this whole post was trivializing.
Its-that-witch-again is acting like she is some type of savior and like she is the only one who has been calling for help in Sudan. Tons of black women have been doing this before her. Acting like black women calling her out on her anti-blackness is taking away from the help and support from Sudan is deeply rooted in anti-blackness. Putting blame on black women, or attempting to blame black women for Sudan not getting support in any way, shape or form is anti-blackness.
Please do not support its-that-witch-again. She is racist and is purposely painting black women out as aggressors. She has been antiblack and racist in the past. This is another example.
Do not reblog/comment this post to argue or defend her, you will be blocked. I’m not doing this out of spite, nor am I trying to start drama. This is a PSA, because this needs to be known. If you wanna talk to me via I’m let me know, but please spread this.
You do realize you are not “black women” you are a black woman. Singular. You don’t speak for the entire group, likewise she’s not speaking to an entire group, hell she’s not even speaking to you. She said it best, this isn’t about you or her or drama. Its about Sudan. Support it or dont but this is pathetic.
I won’t stop you from being Vegan. People’s food choices don’t affect me, so why should I care?
I do care when you criticize non-vegans (or “carnists”, which has been “coined” as the correct phrase, apparently) for eating meat. Why?
Let people eat what the want to eat, dudes.
1) No, you very much do not have the right to eat what you want. When what you choose to eat affects other beings, you no longer have that right because your “rights” infringes upon their right to live. My right to touch you stops where your body begins, because in that situation, my rights must be measured against yours. So it is with eating animals, your desire to eat their flesh must be weighed against the animal’s right to be alive and to not have their throat slit. I’d be interested to see what sort of argument you could come up with for defending the idea that you wanting a chicken sandwich should be considered most important than someone else wanting to stay alive. You don’t force your eating decisions on me, but you do force it on the thousands of individuals you will consume during your lifetime, and those individuals are my primary concern.
2. You’ve sort of answered your own question here. Given that there are other sources of protein available, that meat gives protein is not a justification for eating it, unless you have no other option. Does that apply to you? Is there really no other way you could get protein in your diet? Because if it doesn’t; then once again, the fact that not everyone on earth can stop eating animal products is not at all relevant as to whether or not you, or most other people who absolutely could give up eating animals, should continue to do so.
3. First it was our ancestors you justify why you eat animals in your previous post to me, now it’s tigers? Come on, you’re being intentionally obtuse. You know full well that vegans aren’t advocating for tigers to go vegan. This was a clumsy attempt to reduce our position to an absurdity and it was far too transparent to ever be effective. Once again, when you are defending your own moral decisions, you cannot use the obligate behaviour of our hunter gatherer ancestors or tigers in the wild as a smokescreen for your freely made choices. Unless you genuinely want to offer tigers or early humans as a moral model for how we should behave in 2019 then you really need to stop appealing to their behaviour as a justification for your own moral decisions; it is not an effective argument.
Ohhhhhhh my god, just let people eat what they want to eat XD
I’m actually finding this pretty fucking hilarious because suddenly I’m getting a ton of attention from some big vegan blog because you’re obviously getting real pissed off about my posts. Like, dude, get a hobby other than having a vegan tumblr. Might be good for you.
Oh, and meat tastes good.
Yeah, gasp all you want. It’s no secret.
…. You tagged me? So wasn’t my attention your desired response…? I’ve heard these same, tired old arguments literally thousands of times, and I’ve also had people resort to “‘meat tastes good!” when they realised they don’t have a leg to stand on a fair few hundred times as well. You’d need to have surprised me in order to piss me off, which judging by the level of originality of your thinking here, you are incapable of doing.
If it makes you feel better to believe that you have annoyed me with your clumsy attempts at attacking veganism then you may keep your illusions. But rest assured, what anyone else reading this will have seen is your arguments being calmly disproved beyond any reasonable doubt, and you offering absolutely nothing to defend them in return. Regardless, it’s clear you’re done with having a rational debate at this point so I’ll leave you to it. Have a nice day.
This guy: makes a post trying to debate with vegans & specifically tags one of the biggest vegan blogs in it clearly looking for a response
This guy after the vegan blog responds: OMG get a life?????? Why u so pissed off omg why am I getting attention from vegans?? Meat is tasty?????
Lol fuck
ive been thinking and honest to god: i think i would actually join a girl gang if the offer came. like a legitimate, hierarchical, “let’s carry knives under our skirts and beat up men” gang. fuck college
and this was no “5 girls in a small town” who made the news—this was yakuza level shit. 20,000 girls getting into gang fights and shoplifting and getting pissed off that only men were allowed to be rough and violent and angry
I think I just found out what I would be doing if I was a 70s Woman.

how dull for you to live your life without any hills to die on, you, on your vast flat barren plains of compromise, acceptance, and accommodation, while I reign supreme over the lush, rolling highlands of stupid shit I have irrationally chosen to stake my entire identity on
